Help Us Educate 30,000 Youth Across Canada

This fall, schools across Canada are coming together to help create a generation of lifesavers.

From October 1 to November 30, 2026, deliver CardiacCrash sessions with your students and join a nationwide effort to increase CPR and AED awareness among youth.  Every completed and reported session will help more students build the confidence to respond during a cardiac arrest and bring us closer to our goal of educating 30,000 youth in recognition of World Restart a Heart Day on October 16 and CPR Month in November.

Ready to get started?

Here’s how the challenge works:

1. Register for CardiacCrash

CardiacCrash in Action

CardiacCrash is recommended for students in Grade 7 and above in elementary, middle, and high schools across Canada.

Time: A session is under an hour long, led by a volunteer facilitator (usually a teacher at the school), including a question-and-answer portion.

With our help, you can be trained in as little as 15-30 minutes. We're here to support you!

Technology: A computer (recommended) or tablet with a connection to a projector or large screen.

Equipment: CPR equipment is required to practice. There are many fun DIY options for you to use such as semi-deflated basketballs. To learn more, check out our: DIY Equipment Guide.

Space: A large enough space for 2 teams (up to 40 students) and CPR practice stations.

“At our school, the Resource teacher and PE teacher teamed up to facilitate the program, and it couldn’t have been easier! With the easy-to-follow training videos and resources, it practically runs itself with minimal management required. It’s a fantastic whole group activity that provides essential life skills. We highly recommend this spectacular program!”
